Guide Live (January 10, 2018) – Luxury shopping is the name of the game at Fort Worth’s new The Shops at Clearfork.
The development, which relocated department store Neiman Marcus from its longtime home at Ridgmar Mall to southwest Fort Worth, is filled with high-end designers. There’s jewelry (Kendra Scott, Tiffany and Co.), clothing (Burberry, Elaine Turner), accessories (Tory Burch, Louis Vuitton), furniture (Z Gallerie, Arhaus) and even cars (Tesla). With sculptures peppered throughout the area, shopping Clearfork almost feels like you’re meandering through NorthPark Center in Dallas — only outdoors.
You’re going to need fuel to hit all those places. Luckily, the Shops at Clearfork has plenty of restaurants and bars where you can indulge. Here’s where to dine and drink while planning a shop-til-you-drop excursion.
The Trailhead at Clearfork. Slightly removed from the shopping center, the Trailhead at Clearfork is a scenic outpost overlooking the Trinity River. As the name suggests, biking and hiking trails converge here, where there’s also an eatery called Press Cafe and a cycling shop. Rise No. 3 owner Hedda Dowd likened the area to “Napa without the mountains.” On weekdays, the venue hosts outdoor fitness classes, and on weekends, there’s a farmer’s market. Patrons can stop by any time to enjoy a libation in the outdoor garden dotted with native plants or on Press Cafe’s rooftop patio.
